Our new CI to repo build system will host packages of wslutilities for every Linux distro on WSL, including Ubuntu, Debian, OpenSUSE, Fedora Remix for WSL, and distros supported by WLinux Enterprise, including CentOS, Scientific Linux, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

You can help test wslutilities 2.0rc1 and our new CI to repo build system prior to it’s release in WLinux 1.2.

On Pengwin

Comment out http://apt.patrickwu.space in /etc/apt/sources.list and then run the quick install script to add the new Whitewater Foundry apt repo and GPG key:

$ sudo sed "s@deb http://apt.patrickwu.space/@# deb http://apt.patrickwu.space/@g" /etc/apt/sources.list
$ curl -s https://packagecloud.io/install/repositories/whitewaterfoundry/wslu/script.deb.sh | sudo bash

UPDATE: Following the release of Pengwin this is no longer necessary.

On Fedora Remix for WSL

We are working with the folks at packagecloud.io to get Fedora Remix for WSL properly detected by their quick install script as Fedora.

On other distros, follow quick install script here.
